Centre launches AI skilling programme for creative sector, offers 15,000 scholarships

New Delhi, May 4 (UNI): The Centre on Monday launched a large-scale AI skilling programme for the creative sector, offering 15,000 scholarships to equip young talent with industry-focused skills in generative AI, digital content creation, and storytelling.
Launched by the Ministry of Information AND Broadcasting (MIB), in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies (IICT), the programme is developed in partnership with Google and YouTube.
The programme aims to provide scholarships to equip emerging talent in media, entertainment, animation, gaming, and digital storytelling with industry-relevant AI skills.
