Chinese national arrested at Raxaul border while attempting illegal entry into India

Motihari, May 17 (UNI) In a major security operation at the Indo-Nepal border, personnel of the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) 47th Battalion today apprehended a Chinese national attempting to enter India without a valid visa at the Raxaul border checkpost in Bihar’s East Champaran district.
According to official sources, the individual was intercepted during routine checks at the immigration checkpoint in Raxaul after his movements raised suspicion among security personnel. Upon questioning and document verification by SSB and immigration officials, he was identified as a Chinese citizen.
The arrested individual has been identified as Yao Shuzhang, a resident of Shandong province in China. During the search, officials recovered a Chinese passport from his possession, but he failed to produce a valid Indian visa required for legal entry into the country.
