City based first Muslim female GI surgeon in India

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, June 4 (UNI) "The path to success is the pursuit of knowledge incessantly''. Dr. Shaikh Muna Afroz has proved it to be true, having always aspired to be a surgeon.
She is all set to join the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and become the first Muslim female Gastro Intestinal and Hepato- Pancreato- Biliary (GI-HPB) surgeon in India.
Dr. Muna has secured an All India Rank (AIR) – 3 in M. Ch. GI-HPB Surgery in the INI-SS 2023.
