Shimla, Feb 5 (UNI) Chief Justice of Patna High court and former Himachal Pradesh HC Judge Justice Sanjay Karol has been
elevated to Supreme court of India, a presidential order was passed in this regard on Saturday.
A notification was issued by Additional Secretary to Goverment of India Mr Rajinder Kashyap, India confirmed that the elevation of Justice Sanjay Karol to SC would effect from the date said that he would assume charge of his office. Beside CJ of HC of Patna earlier Justice Karol have been served as Chief Justice of HC Tripura and CJ of HC of Jharkhand. It is noteworthy to mention here that Mr Karol belonged to Shimla and state of Himachal Pradesh was recommended for the Judge of apex court by the collegium of
