Cleanliness awareness rally taken out in Maha Kumbh Mela area

Prayagraj, Jan 24 (UNI) As part of the 'Swacch and Swasth Maha Kumbh' campaign, a cleanliness awareness rally was organised to inspire devotees and promote eco-friendly practices.
More than 200 Ganga Sevadoots and Swachhata Mitras participated, carrying posters, and banners and chanting slogans to spread the message of cleanliness and sustainability.
To uphold this vision, approximately 15,000 sanitation workers and over 1,800 Ganga Sevadoots are tirelessly maintaining cleanliness across the fairgrounds, funded by the Swachh Kumbh initiative under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Single-use plastic has been entirely banned in the Maha Kumbh area.
