CM Fanavis to perform bhoomi poojan of Mumbai's new Bird Park

Mumbai, Dec 13 (UNI) The groundbreaking ceremony (Bhoomi Poojan) of the Mumbai's proposed new exotic bird park at Mulund in suburban Mumbai will take place tomorrow, officials said today.
Deputy CM Eknath Shinde and others will also be present on the occasion.
Giving details of the new bird park, Mihir Kotecha, the local BJP MLA from Mulund, said that the park will be spread across a total area of 17,958 square metres and operate as a sub-centre of the Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Vanaspati Udyan and Zoo (Ranibaug) at Byculla.
