Cockroach Janata Party eyes Punjab debut, founder to lead Amritsar protest over NEET, CBSE issues

Chandigarh, June 12 (UNI): The recently formed Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) is set to make its entry into Punjab, with its founder Abhijeet Deepke announcing a visit to Amritsar on June 13 to participate in a demonstration in support of NEET and CBSE students.
In a video shared on the social media platform X, Deepke said he would reach Amritsar at 4 pm on Friday and urged young people to gather at Amritsar Gate. He said a peaceful protest would be organised to raise issues concerning NEET and CBSE students and to demand the resignation of union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Deepke appealed to students and youth to join the protest, asserting that collective action could help secure justice for those affected by concerns surrounding the examinations. He also invited people from across the region to participate in the demonstration.
