Cold wave grips state early this year : IMD

Ranchi, Nov 7 (UNI) Winter has arrived early in state this year, with temperatures dipping steadily across the state.
Several districts, including Ranchi, Simdega, and Khunti, have already come under the influence of a cold wave.
As evening sets in, people can be seen wrapping themselves in thick shawls and blankets. Notably, in Simdega and Khunti, streets wear a deserted look after 6 p.m., as the minimum temperature has dropped to around 12°C.
