Comic Con India 2025-26 set to return this December at NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Delhi

New Delhi, Sep 9 (UNI) Comic Con India, the country’s premier celebration of pop culture, has officially announced the return of its flagship event, Delhi Comic Con 2025-26, set to take place from December 5-7 at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla.
Since its inception in 2011, Delhi Comic Con has stood at the heart of India’s pop-culture revolution, evolving from a niche gathering into a nationwide movement.
With its eclectic mix of comic books, cosplay, fan meet-ups, exclusive merchandise, gaming zones, and immersive experiences, the event has become a magnet for fans, creators, and performers from across the country.
Last year’s edition drew over 52,000 attendees, featuring a stellar lineup of performances from stand-up comedians Ashish Solanki, Ravi Gupta, and Rohan Joshi, along with musical acts like rapper Fotty Seven and singer Panther, bringing a festival-like energy to the convention.
Akshat Rathee, co-founder and Managing Director of NODWIN Gaming, reflected on Delhi's central role in Comic Con India's journey. “Delhi will always be home for Comic Con India. This is where it all began in 2011, when a small group of fans, artists, and creators turned a simple idea into a cultural movement."
He said every year the city has given them the biggest stage and the loudest voice. "This December, I can’t wait to see the capital once again transform into India’s biggest celebration of stories, characters, and imagination,” said Rathee.
The event continues to serve as a vital platform not just for fans, but for emerging artists, creators, and indie publishers, offering panel discussions, workshops, industry networking, and live feedback opportunities. The interactive zones, from cosplay contests to fan art exhibits, have provided countless creatives a chance to showcase their passion on a national stage.
Shefali Johnson, CEO of Comic Con India, shared her personal connection with the Delhi chapter. “Delhi Comic Con has always been close to my heart because of the fans who make it what it is. Every year I see people walk in with months of work behind their costumes, artists proudly showing their first printed comics, and groups of friends who plan the entire weekend around this festival... There’s a warmth and excitement in Delhi that makes you feel like you’re part of one big family,” she said.
This year’s edition promises to be bigger and more immersive, featuring VR experiences such as McLaren-themed racing simulators, Chandrayaan and Ocean Quest simulations, PC and console gaming tournaments, pop-up shops, photo booths, and vibrant cosplay from genres like anime, comics, sci-fi, and gaming.
Fans can look forward to spending three unforgettable days soaking in the winter sun and diving deep into the worlds of comics, manga, science fiction, fantasy, and virtual reality.
