Computer operators to he appointed in every Panchayat in Bihar

Patna, June 11 (UNI) Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal on Thursday called for appointing computer operator-cum-clerks in every panchayat to strengthen the delivery of online revenue services at the grassroots level.
Reviewing revenue-related works in Darbhanga and Sheikhpura districts through video conferencing from the departmental headquarters, the minister said the initiative would make services such as land mutation, record correction, e-measurement and other online revenue facilities more accessible to the public.
Jaiswal said the department has also sent a proposal to the state staff selection commission for the recruitment of 8,054 revenue employees to address the shortage of manpower in the revenue administration.
