Conditions favourable for onset of Southwest monsoon over Kerala in next 5 days: Met

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh), May 27 (UNI) The conditions are likely to become favourable for the onset of Southwest monsoon over Kerala during the next five days, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a daily weather report here, it said that the conditions are also likely to become favourable for further advance of Southwest monsoon into some more parts of South Arabian Sea, remaining parts of Maldives and Comorin area, some parts of Lakshadweep area, Kerala, some more parts of Southwest and Central Bay of Bengal, the Northeast Bay of Bengal and some parts of Northeastern states during the same period.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during the next 24 hours and in Rayalaseema on May 31.

Tirupati, Feb 5 (UNI) The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), managing the richest and the most visited religious center Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala, has barred 18 employees working at various TTD-run wings, from participating in any religious functions of TTD until further orders, according to a memo issued recently by the TTD Executive officer J Symala Rao.
