Cong demands removal of SBI chief Arundhati Bhattarcharya

New Delhi, Oct 23 (UNI) Expressing concern over the increasing incidents of data theft from the debit cards of customers on a large scale from the largest bank of India, The State Bank of India, Congress today demanded immediate removal of its chief Arundhati Bhattacharya, holding her accountable for the same.
Congress Spokesperson Tom Vadakkan told mediapersons that around 9060 secret documents related to the people's hard earned money was displayed on the social media. Due to the negligence of bank authorities, the hard earned money of the poor has been looted and being misused in China.The data has been stolen from total 19 banks, he pointed out.
The Spokesperson held the bank authorities responsible for the leak and noted that Ms Bhattacharya, instead of working on the bank's functioning, had been lobbying hard for a service extension at political level since past three months. She was rather concentrating on her career goals, he alleged.
