Congress calls Fadnavis govt's Year in Office 'Year of the Corrupt', seeks "white paper"

Nagpur, Dec 5 (UNI) As the Mahayuti government in Maharashtra completed one year in office on Friday, Congress state president Harshwardhan Sapkal and senior leader Vijay Vadettiwar launched a scathing attack on the government, terming it as corrupt and demanded a white paper on its achievements.
The state Congress leadership, described the past year as a “year of the corrupt” and demanded presentation of a "white paper" in the upcoming winter session of the state legislature, detailing what it has achieved in one year.
Addressing a press conference in Nagpur, Sapkal alleged that the government’s tenure had been marked by corruption, law-and-order issues and neglect of the people’s welfare. “The promises made at the time of coming to power, financial support for ‘Ladli behens,’ farmers’ debt relief and government job creation have been completely forgotten,” Sapkal said.
