Congress' Krishna Allavaru asks party spokespersons to counter ‘falsehood’ with facts

Patna, 11 May (UNI) Urging the newly selected party spokespersons to emerge as a strong voice against “falsehood” and effectively articulate the concerns of Bihar and the nation before the people, in charge of political affairs of the Bihar unit of Congress, Krishna Allavaru, on Monday, asserted that the battle in politics today was also a battle of narrative and communication.
Addressing an orientation programme for spokespersons, panelists, and programme researchers selected through the National Talent Hunt, Allavaru said here at the Congress state headquarters, Sadaqat Ashram, that the responsibility of a spokesperson was not limited to representing the party on television debates or public forums, but also to defending truth and democratic values.
He said the selected participants must continuously work on improving their knowledge, arguments, and communication skills to effectively present the party’s ideology and counter misinformation. “You have to become the voice of Bihar, the people, and the country and stand firmly for the truth,” he said.
