Coromandel Intl, Samunnati join hands to improve Agri-Input Access for FPOs

Hyderabad, June 8 (UNI) Coromandel International Limited, one of India’s leading agri-solutions providers, today said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Samunnati Agri Value Chain Solutions Private Limited to strengthen market access and improve the availability of quality agricultural inputs for Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) and other stakeholders in the rural agri ecosystem.
The agreement was signed by Madhab Adhikari and Suresh Rajagopalan in the presence of Narayanan Vellayan and senior officials from both organizations.
Under the partnership, Coromandel will leverage Samunnati’s extensive network of FPOs to expand access to its crop nutrition, crop protection and agri-service solutions.
The collaboration aims to enhance the availability of high-quality agri-inputs while supporting productivity and sustainability across farming communities.
The two companies will also explore customized marketing support initiatives, product demonstrations and technology adoption programmes to encourage the use of modern agricultural practices and sustainable farming solutions.
In addition, Samunnati Finance Private Limited may extend financial assistance to eligible FPOs and participants in the agri ecosystem for the procurement of Coromandel products, subject to separate agreements and regulatory approvals.
Speaking on the occasion, Narayanan Vellayan said the partnership aligns with Coromandel’s commitment to delivering innovative and sustainable agri-solutions to farmers across the country.
“By combining Coromandel’s strong product portfolio and field expertise with Samunnati’s deep engagement with FPOs and agri value chain participants, we aim to improve access to quality inputs and support the growth of a more resilient and efficient agri ecosystem,” he added.
Suresh Rajagopalan said the collaboration would strengthen last-mile access to quality agricultural inputs and promote sustainable farming practices.
“Our partnership with Coromandel will create greater value for FPOs, Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) and farmers through integrated market linkage and financial inclusion solutions,” he added.
