Couple arrested in Bengal for Delhi University Professor's murder

Burdwan, June 7 (UNI) Delhi Police arrested a tenant couple from Burdwan town in connection with the murder of Delhi University assistant professor Debasmita Pal on Sunday afternoon.
A six-member Delhi Police team, accompanying the Forensic experts, raided Debasmita's Burdwan town property and intercepted the couple. They also made a video of the property and collected different samples this afternoon.
The accused, Ramprasad Das and his wife Banashree Das, were apprehended from the slain assistant Professor's maternal grandfather's house in the posh Badamtala area in the town, where they were staying as tenants for one and a half years.
