COVID-19: Bangladesh registers 42 more fatalities in last 24 hours

Dhaka, Aug 12 (UNI) The novel coronavirus death toll in Bangladesh exceeded 3,500 on Wednesday as the country recorded 42 more fatalities from the virus in the past 24 hours.
With this, the country's coronavirus death tally stood at 3,513, the Directorate General of Health Services said in a press statement today.
In the past day, 2,995 more people caught the deadly virus, taking the total cases to 2,66,498.
