Covid-19: Strike by KSRTC employees was uncalled far when Covid has become rampant: Chief Justice

Bengaluru, Apr 20 (UNI) Karnataka High Court on Tuesday took strong exception to ongoing strike by KSRTC employees, saying it's not the right time to protest when the entire State is under grip of Covid-19 pandemic.
The employees of four state run Corporations should resume operations of bus services immediately, so that the common man will not suffer further.
Issuing a notice to the state government, its transport entities and the employees union on a batch of public interest litigations filed against the strike, a division bench of Chief Justice Abhay Shreeniwas Oka and Justice Suraj Govindaraj said, ''We hope and trust that without compromising on the demands made by the union, the employees of four entities come forward to operate buses immediately so that the common man does not suffer further.''
