COVID: Himachal reports 1189 cases, 26 deaths

Shimla/Hamirpur, Apr 23 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh on Friday reported 26 deaths (14 M,12 W) and 1,189 new cases of COVID-19 during the past 24 hours.
Of the fresh casualties, nine were reported from Kangra, seven from Hamirpur, six from Shimla, two from Sirmaur and one each from the districts of Kulu and Mandi.
Among the cases, Kangra district topped the list with 330 new cases followed by Solan with 218 cases, Mandi 135, Sirmaur and Una 112 each, Chamba 84, Hamirpur 83, Shimla 59 and Bilaspur 44.
