CP Radhakrishnan assumes charge as Rajya Sabha Chairman

New Delhi, Sept 12 (UNI) CP Radhakrishnan, after taking oath as the Vice President of India, assumed the office of the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha today.
he Vice President is also the ex-officio Chairman of the Rajya Sabha. The Rajya Sabha Secretariat announced Radha Krishnan’s assumption of charge as the Chairman of the Upper House in a social media post.
After taking oath as Vice President in the morning, Radhakrishnan visited the Inspiration Site within the Parliament premises, where he paid floral tributes to the statues of the nation’s great leaders.
