CPI(M), Cong function under remote control of Jamaat-e-Islami, SDPI: BJP

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 17 (UNI) The BJP has intensified its attack on the ruling CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) government in Kerala and the Opposition Congress, accusing both parties of functioning under the “remote control” of Jamaat-e-Islami and the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI).
BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar alleged that the increasing radicalization in the state, the “loot of Sabarimala,” and the recent attack on St. Rita’s School were direct consequences of the growing influence of extremist elements within both the CPM and the Congress.
Describing the two parties as “political twins,” he said there was a quiet determination among the people of Kerala to resist the radicalization of society and the misuse of religious institutions.
