CPI(M) holds state convention in Shimla to back nationwide farmers and workers protests

Shimla, Oct 17 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh State Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) held a state-level convention at Kali Bari Hall, Shimla, to mobilize support for the nationwide farmers’ and workers’ protests scheduled for November 26, 2025, and January 19, 2026.
Around 200 party leaders attended the convention, which resolved to extend full support to the upcoming agitations and called upon all party cadres in the state to ensure their success.
The convention was conducted under the chairmanship of State Secretary Sanjay Chauhan, while a resolution to intensify struggles against the Centre’s neoliberal policies was presented by Dr. Omkar Shad.
