CPI releases list of six candidates for Bihar Assembly Elections

Patna, Oct 14 (UNI) The Communist Party of India (CPI), a constituent of the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance), tonight released its first list of six candidates for the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections even before the formal seat-sharing announcement within the GA.
According to a statement issued by the party late this evening, Ramratan Singh has been nominated from Teghra, Suryakant Paswan from Bakhri (Reserved), Avdhesh Kumar Rai from Bachhwara, Sanjay Kumar from Banka, Rakesh Kumar Pandey from Harlakhi, and Ram Narayan Yadav from Jhanjharpur.
The statement added that these candidates will contest under the CPI’s official election symbol. The CPI also said that it will announce its second list of candidates for Goh, Kargahar, Beldour, Biharsharif, Rajapakar (Reserved), Kesariya, Chanpatia, and Vikram constituencies once seat-sharing discussions within the GA are finalized.
