Criminal offence of practicing bonded labour has been registered against 8 accused on one single day

Pune, Jan 29 (UNI) A criminal offence of practicing bonded labour and atrocities act has been registered against as many as eight accused in three separate police station on one single day Friday.
An official statement by Balaram Bhoir and Vijay Jadhav General secretaries of the Shramajivi Sanghatana, an organization working for the uplift of trial's and freeing bonded labourers stated on Sunday that the alleged accused land lords had engaged as many as 12 children as bonded labourers with them and used them for grazing of cattle and other odd jobs.
Presenting the three FIRS registered at the police stations of Sangamner taluka, Parner and Ghargaon police stations of Ahmednagar district they said the police were presently probing the cases.
