Cyient founder Mohan Reddy receives living leged award by Geospatial World

Hyderabad, Jan 14 (UNI) Cyient, a global Intelligent Engineering solutions company, on Wednesday announced that its Founder Chairman, Dr. B.V.R. Mohan Reddy, has been conferred the ‘Living Legend Award’ by Geospatial World, one of the world’s leading geospatial knowledge organisations.
The award recognises Dr. Reddy’s pioneering leadership and lifetime contribution to advancing India’s geospatial ecosystem and positioning the country as a global hub for engineering and R&D innovation.
He was honoured at the 25th edition of GeoSmart India, a landmark event celebrating the evolution and maturity of India’s geospatial sector, the Hyderabad company said in a release.
The Living Legend Award is presented to distinguished visionaries who have significantly shaped the global geospatial industry through sustained leadership, transformative innovation, and enduring impact.
Over the decades, Dr. Reddy has grown Cyient from a modest startup into one of India’s most respected global geospatial and engineering organisations.
His entrepreneurial vision and consistent focus on innovation have played a critical role in strengthening India’s geospatial capabilities and global competitiveness.
Beyond business, Dr. Reddy is widely recognised for mentoring next-generation leaders at Cyient and across India’s education, startup, and industry ecosystems.
He has actively contributed to national initiatives spanning education, IT, engineering, and societal development.
