Delhi CM & cabinet ministers travel to Secretariat using Metro & bus as part of ‘Metro Monday’ campaign

New Delhi, May 18 (UNI) Leading by example regarding Delhi government's sweeping set of fuel-conservation measures, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her cabinet colleagues on Monday travelled to the Delhi secretariat using a Metro train, and took a connecting Delhi Transport Corporation bus.
CM Gupta along with Social Welfare Minister Ravinder Indraj Singh boarded the Metro from Kashmere Gate, going up to ITO station, where they were joined by PWD Minister Parvesh Verma. They then took a feeder bus to ITO together, travelling with people, spreading the message to use public transport as part of the ‘Mera Bharat Mera Yogdan’ campaign.
The CM and several ministers travelled by Metro on Monday as part of the government’s new ‘Metro Monday’ campaign promoting fuel conservation and public transport use, as part of the “Mera Bharat Mera Yogdan” campaign.
