New Delhi, Jun 29 (UNI) Keeping in view the prevailing pandemic situation of COVID-19, the Delhi High Court and the district courts have suspended their 'physical functioning' till July 15.
The Administrative and General Supervision Committee of the High Court decided that the restriction would be in place till July 15 and the urgent matters would continue to be heard by video-conferencing.
After this decision, the cases listed for hearing in the court from July 1 to 15 have been deferred to August and September. Similarly, the district courts have also been postponed.
The urgent matters will be done through online from 0900 hrs to 1030 hrs.
The High Court had on March 25, restricted its and district courts' functioning till April 14. It was then extended six times till June 30.
