Delhi Police arrests proclaimed offender after nine years in murder case

New Delhi, Jun 1 (UNI) A man who had been absconding for nearly nine years in connection with the murder of a woman allegedly killed for a Rs. 50 lakh insurance claim and property benefits has been arrested from Bihar, Delhi Police said on Monday.
The accused, identified as Chandan Kumar (46), was arrested on May 29 from Lakhisarai district in Bihar. Police also revealed that another accused in the case, Kundan Kumar, had died in 2018.
