Delhi police to use AI-powered smart glasses for enhanced Republic Day security

New Delhi, Jan 21 (UNI) On the occasion of Republic Day, to bolster security arrangements and nab terror suspects, the Delhi police will use Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based smart glasses.
These glasses will be equipped with a facial recognition system directly linked to the police criminal database, enabling on-the-spot identification of suspects or wanted criminals.
These smart glasses will scan an individual's face in crowded areas and match it with police records within seconds.
