Delhi's tally rises to 18549, highest ever single day spike clocked again

New Delhi, May 30 (UNI) The national capital has registered a fresh tallest ever single day spike on the third consecutive day, this time with 1163 infections, taking the COVID tally here over 18 thousand on Saturday with the figure settling at 18,549.
According to the government data, fatalities in the city have also gone past 400 mark after 18 more people lost their lives to the viral infection in the past 24 hours. Death toll is now 416.
Number of cases under active medical supervision have now reached 10058, that includes 212 patients admitted to the ICUs in dedicated COVID hospitals, while 34 were on the ventilator support.
