Dense fog trigger multiple accidents across Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, Dec 15 (UNI) A severe cold wave combined with snowfall in the hilly regions has intensified winter conditions across Uttar Pradesh.
On Monday morning, dense fog engulfed at least 20 cities, including Varanasi, Bareilly, Ayodhya, Jaunpur, Meerut, and Gorakhpur.
The dense fog has also led to a series of road accidents across the state. On Monday alone, four major accidents were reported in which 31 vehicles collided with each other, leaving 11 people injured.
