Chandigarh, Apr 23 (UNI) Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij directed all the Police Commissioners and Superintendents of Police of the state that the police force be deployed at crowded places like markets, shopping centres, playgrounds so that COVID-19 guidelines can be strictly adhered to.
Presiding over a high-level review meeting of police officers on Friday, the Home Minister said that the COVID-19 rules framed by the government should be strictly enforced. He said that in view of increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the state, the police have been ordered not to give any kind of relaxation.
He directed to strictly adhere to the orders related to closure of shops after 1800 hrs daily, the imposition of corona curfew from 2200 hrs to 0500 hrs and attendance of 50 people for indoor and 200 people for outdoor programmes.
