Deshmukh murder: CM Fadnavis takes case details from SP, CID

Mumbai, Jan 13 (UNI) Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday summoned Beed Superintendent of Police and Officers of the Criminals Investigation Department (CID) and sought details of the progress in the Investigation of the murder of village sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh.
The police have so far arrested seven accused and booked them under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA ).
The Chief Minister directed the police officials to ensure not a single accused in the murder case goes free and take strict action against those who are found guilty in the investigation.

An important meeting of about two hours was held on Monday morning, which was attended by Deputy CM Sunetra Pawar, her elder son and MP Parth Pawar as well as Prashant Kishor himself.
