Devotees from all directions prioritise Sangam Nose during Maha Kumbh

Prayagraj, Jan 14 (UNI) The primary focus of the devotees was the Sangam Nose, where saints and spiritual leaders from various Akharas also performed their ritual baths, on the occasion of first Amrit Snan of Maha Kumbh on Makar Sankranti on Tuesday.
Due to the efforts of the mechanical branch of Irrigation Department, Mechanical Barrage Mechanical Section Maintenance Varanasi, this seamless coexistence of saints and devotees at the Sangam Nose became a reality.
In just 85 days, the team worked round-the-clock in three shifts to expand 26 hectares of land between the Shastri Bridge and Sangam Nose, with 2 hectares exclusively added at the Sangam Nose.
