DG CRPF reviews security preparedness for Amarnath Yatra in Kashmir

Srinagar, June 10 (UNI) Director General of CRPF, G. P. Singh on Wednesday reviewed the operational and logistical preparedness of the force for the forthcoming Amarnath Yatra
The annual Amarnath pilgrimage is set to begin on July 3 and continue until August 28.
According to a spokesperson of CRPF, the Director General , who is on a three-day visit to Kashmir Valley, reviewed security arrangements along the yatra route up to the Baltal base camp in Ganderbal district and stressed the need for maintaining a robust security grid through close coordination among all stakeholders.
