DPRK Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un congratulates Russian President Vladmir Putin on 73rd birthday, pledges deeper bilateral relations

Pyongyang, Oct 7 (UNI) North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has congratulated his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on his 73rd birthday, expressing confidence in eternal friendship and continued allied relations between the two countries, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported, as per TASS.
Moscow and Pyongyang have developed increasingly strong bilateral relations in wake of the Russia–Ukraine war.
The two have particularly developed significant ties in the sphere of defence, with Russia providing North Korea with technological advancements and consultations for weapons development, while the DPRK has been sending thousands of soldiers to aid Russia.
