Dr. Neelam Gorhe Demands SIT Probe into Rave Party Cases MPDA Action Against Key Masterminds

Mumbai, June 8 (UNI) Expressing serious concern over the increasing number of illegal rave parties, drug trafficking, and deaths linked to such events in Pune, Mumbai, and surrounding areas, Shiv Sena leader and former Deputy Chairperson of the Maharashtra Legislative Council Dr. Neelam Gorhe on Monday demanded a SIT probe.
In a memorandum to the State Director General of Police. she has also demanded action against the key masterminds under the MPDA Act.
A raid conducted by Pune Police at a luxury farmhouse in Tulapur on the city outskirts exposed a high-profile party called "Project X." During the operation, authorities seized a large quantity of alcohol, banned hookah flavors, and marijuana. It was revealed that 156 young men and women were present at the party, including college students, IT professionals, and highly educated individuals from various fields.
