Dr Reddy's launches Generic Bosutinib Tablets in US market

Hyderabad, June 13 (UNI) Dr Reddy's Laboratories Ltd on Saturday announced the launch of Bosutinib Tablets 400 mg, a generic equivalent of Bosulif, in the United States, marking its entry as the first generic player in the market for the strength and further expanding its oncology portfolio.
The Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical major said it has partnered with MSN Laboratories Pvt Ltd. for the product. Under the collaboration, Dr Reddy's holds exclusive marketing rights in the United States, while MSN is responsible for product development and manufacturing.
Bosutinib Tablets 400 mg was a first-to-file product and is eligible for 180 days of generic drug exclusivity in the US market, the company said in a statement.
Commenting on the launch, Milan Kalawadia, Chief Executive Officer, North America, Dr Reddy's Laboratories Inc., said the introduction of the product reflects the company's strategy of ensuring timely market entry for high-priority therapies while improving access to affordable treatment options.
"This launch underscores our commitment to expanding access to critical medicines and strengthening our oncology portfolio while supporting patients and healthcare providers with affordable treatment alternatives," he said.
MSN Laboratories Executive Director Bharat Reddy said the successful development and commercialisation of Bosutinib Tablets highlights the company's scientific, regulatory and manufacturing capabilities in complex oncology products.
"We remain committed to delivering high-quality and affordable medicines globally through efficient product development and manufacturing excellence," he said.
According to IQVIA National Sales Perspectives data, the Bosulif brand of Bosutinib Tablets 400 mg recorded sales of approximately USD 253.8 million in the United States during the 12-month period ended April 2026.
