Pune , Feb 4 (UNI) Eminent Scientist Padma Vibhushan Dr Raghunath Mashelkar said that “70 per cent of Bharat resides in villages while 17 per cent resides in slums" and we should not forget these Bharats.
"I hope that the dream of a balanced, cultured, educated, developed, secure and independent Bharat will soon come true.” Dr Mashelkar was speaking during the ‘19th Bharat Asmita Rashtriya Puraskar 2023’ awards distribution ceremony organised by MIT World Peace University in Pune.
MIT WPU Founder President and UNESCO Chair Holder Prof. Dr. Vishwanath D. Karad presided over the function. MIT WPU Executive President Rahul V. Karad, Vice Chancellor Dr R M Chitnis, Pro VC Tapan Panda were present on the occasion.
