Driving licenses, route permits, RCs suspended of traffic rules violators in J&K's Doda

Jammu, June 3 (UNI) The Assistant Regional Transport Officer on Saturday suspended driving licences, route permits and Registration Certificates of traffic violators in district Doda of Jammu and Kashmir.
The ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta has suspended numerous driving licenses, route permits and Registration Certificates of vehicles found in contravention to different traffic rules.
An official statement revealed that driving liscences (DLs) and Registration Certificates have been suspended initially for a period of three months while the Route Permits have also been suspended for violation of various traffic rules.

Raveena tops in women's category, Vikram tops in men's category in marathon race

Dharamshala, Sep 22 (UNI) Raveena Kumari of Govt . Degree College Nagrota Bagwan
in the women's category and Vikram of Government College Dharamshala in the men's category of the marathon race secured the first position.
The marathon was organized at Dharamshala, by the District Health Department, to reduce the discrimination of TB and HIV diseases and to make the youth aware about this disease.
Ms. Bholi and Ritika both of Government College, Dharamshala was awarded the second and third prize respectively. Nancy and Aditi of Government College, Dharamshala were awarded consolation prizes.

12 medical students of Tanda Medical College vacated Hostels for six months as a punishment in a ragging case

Kangra, Sep 22 ( UNI) A dozen senior students of Dr. Rajinder Prasad Govt. Medical College , Kangra at Tanda in Himachal Pradesh who were found guilty of ragging the two junior medical students by the Anti Ragging Sub Committee and were punished and fined Rs. 50,000 each besides were expelled from their hostels for six months and expelled from their regular classes for three months have vacated their hostel today.
