Eight dead in Nashik accident, Fadnavis announces Rs 5 lakh aid

Mumbai, Jan 13 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday announced financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the next of kin of the eight people who died in the Nashik accident and paid emotional tributes to them.
The accident occurred on the Nashik-Mumbai Highway when a tempo and truck collided at Dwarka Circle near an Ayyappa temple.on Sunday night. Several others were injured in the mishap.
Fadnavis said the cost of treatment of the injured will be borne by the government. UNI VKB SSP
