Eight-year-old boy found dead inside hay storage room in Jhansi; police launch probe

Jhansi, Oct 5 (UNI) A shocking incident has come to light from the Lahchura police station area of Jhansi district in Uttar Pradesh, where the body of an eight-year-old boy was found late Saturday night inside a hay storage room of his house.
The child, identified as Mukesh, was reportedly alone at home when the incident occurred. The exact cause of his death remains a mystery, and police have detained one person for questioning, sources confirmed on Sunday.
According to Dr. Arvind Kumar, Superintendent of Police (Rural), the Lahchura police received information around 6 PM on Saturday that a young boy had been missing since approximately 12 noon from Chakra village. Acting swiftly, Station Officer Sarita Mishra arrived at the scene with a police team and began a search operation with the help of local villagers.
