Emergency like situation in country: Deepankar

Patna, June 4 (UNI) General Secretary of CPI(ML) Deepankar Bhattacharya on Sunday said emergency like situation had prevailed in the country under regime of Narendra Modi government.
Bhattacharya told media persons here that Narendra Modi government had adopted repressive approach against opposition and freedom of expression was being suppressed. Those raising voice against flawed policies of the government, were being branded anti nationals, he remarked.
" Under the present regime at the Centre, except BJP, all are being treated as anti nationals", CPI(ML) leader said adding that a number of false cases were being lodged challenging the anti people policies of the government. Central agencies like CBI, ED and Income Tax were being misused to harass opposition parties in the country, he alleged.
