Ensure speedy delivery of welfare schemes: Punjab minister tells officials

Chandigarh, July 15 (UNI) Social Security, Women and Child Development Minister Dr Baljit Kaur, presided over a crucial review meeting at Kisan Bhawan, Chandigarh.
The meeting was attended by officials of the Head Office, District Program Officers, District Social Security Officers and Child Development Project Officers to assess the performance of departmental schemes.
The focus was on ensuring the benefits of the department’s public welfare schemes reach the needy promptly and effectively.
