Bengaluru, Feb 3 (UNI) Karnataka Congress leader G Parameshwara on Friday resigned from party's poll manifesto committee ahead of the state assembly elections, triggering speculations of intense infighting in the party over distribution of tickets.
According to party sources, Parameshara was notably absent at the manifesto committee meeting which was attended by Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar, AICC General Secretary Randeep Surjeala and other KPCC members.
The meeting was held to take a final decision on the list of party candidates for state polls.
