Sangli, Maharashtra, Aug 9 (UNI) Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange-Patil said on Friday that Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has been running a campaign against the ongoing reservation movement for the Maratha community and hatched a plot and divided its leaders into five to six groups with separate Maratha coordinators.
In a press conference here, Jarange-Patil, who was on a visit to Sangli and Kolhapur districts, targeted Fadnavis and said the BJP leader had filed a complaint against the ongoing reservation movement.
Jarange-Patil said Fadnavis was trying to impede the reservation agitation by sending notice to him.
He said he would not be contesting coming state Assembly election.
Jarange-Patil's health deteriorated after the rally Thursday night but he continued his statewide tour.
