Fake MLA, accomplice detained by police in Agra

Agra, Nov 15 (UNI) A fake MLA and his accomplice were today detained by the police in Agra town of Uttar Pradesh, police sources said.
Police sources said that Vinod, a resident of Tughlakabad, Delhi, and his accomplice, Manoj, were staying at the Pawan Hotel in Agra's Sadar area. "Vinod claimed to be an MLA and had the 'MP' written on his car with a Delhi registration number," they said.
Police sources said that Vinod intimidated the hotel owner by claiming to be an MLA and had been staying there for 18 days without paying a single penny.
