FETO demands probe into BLO Anish George’s suicide

Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 17 (UNI) The Federation of Employees and Teachers’ Organizations (FETO) has urged the Central Election Commission to conduct a thorough investigation into the suicide of Anish George, a Booth Level Officer (BLO) and staff member at Kunnur AU UPS School.
FETO suggested that excessive workload and alleged attempts to manipulate voter lists in some areas may have contributed to the tragedy. The organization also called for scrutiny of whether allegations against the SIR, amplified by political leaders and certain media outlets, played a role.
FETO State President A Srini and General Secretary J Mahadevan further demanded that an immediate financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh be granted to Anish George’s family.
