Film "Controll" on cybercrime to release on October 10

Patna, Oct 5 (UNI) Producers Abhay Sinha and Dhaval Gada's upcoming venture "Controll", centred on the unsettling realities of cybercrime in the digital era, is slated for release across India on October 10.
Bankrolled under the aegis of Dr. Jayantilal Gada's Pen Studios and Yashi Studios and helmed by Safdar Abbas, the film ventures beyond conventional storytelling to serve as both entertainment and a cautionary tale.
Speaking at a press briefing, Producer Abhay Sinha underlined that Controll is not just a film, but a social warning exposing the real weakness of human beings in today's digital world.
Abhay Sinha said, "Today, everyone is tied to their digital devices. Our data, our identities, and our personal information have become our greatest resources. 'Controll' brings this reality to life. It questions whether we truly have control over our digital lives, or if someone else is controlling us. This film is a powerful blend of technological realism, emotional depth, and entertainment."
Abhay Sinha, explaining the film's tagline: "Your data is their power", raises urgent questions about autonomy in a world increasingly governed by technology, reinforcing its theme with the stark line.
Meanwhile, the film's lead actor, Thakur Anoop Singh, said about his role, "Playing Major Abhimanyu Shastri was a challenging experience. He is an honest, courageous army officer who, while defending the country, becomes entangled in a cyber conspiracy. This character is not just a symbol of a soldier, but of every person struggling between truth and deceit."
Bollywood actor Rohit Roy plays a negative character in the film Controll. He underscored the contemporary reality that control often lies not in physical strength or wealth, but in digital dominance.
Rohit Roy said, "Control" is a warning, a mirror, and a question: Do we truly have control over our lives? When the film hits theatres on October 10, it will prove to be not just a thriller, but a film that confronts the biggest truths of the digital age".
An ensemble cast including Priya Anand, Rajesh Sharma, Yashpal Sharma, Denzil Smith, Siddharth Banerjee, Karan Singh Chhabra, Rohan Joshi, Rudrashish Majumdar and Palak Jaiswal further amplifies the film's gravitas. UNI NST SSP
