Fire breaks out in building in Noida, no casualties

Noida, Nov 17 (UNI) A fire broke out at the Krishna Apara Plaza, a building in Sector 18 of Noida city in Uttar Pradesh. The security guard alerted the local police who informed the fire department.
The Gautam Buddh Nagar fire department reported the fire saying, "We received three or four phone calls about the fire at around 3:20 am. Initially, we were told the fire was quite large. Approximately 15 vehicles and firefighter officers from various fire departments arrived immediately at the scene and took immediate action to extinguish the flames."
A short circuit in a restaurant located outside the building caused the fire, spreading rapidly. The fire spread through the building's electrical wiring shaft to the fifth floor, and a large amount of smoke was billowing from the building.
